I earned a BA in Art from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, MN, and my Wisconsin State Visual Arts Education Certification from Silver Lake College, Manitowoc, WI.
About Me
I began teaching Art at the St. Matthew campus in 2002, and then at both the St. Matthew and Resurrection campuses in 2008. I enjoy teaching a wide range of ages, and try to give students experiences with a wide variety of art making processes, art of different artists and art styles, art from different time periods and art from around the world. I also include art criticism skills that teach students how to look at art, talk and write about art, analyze and interpret art, and form their opinions about works of art. I receive great joy from seeing students experiment, create and express themselves through art.
