For six decades Mary Donarski has been doing good things at St. Matthew Parish – and we at Father Allouez Catholic School are especially grateful that for 56 of THOSE YEARS, she has devoted herself to our School Library!
Mary has planted the seeds of a love for reading in THREE generations of Father Allouez students! Her tireless dedication and spunky presence have been a great gift to countless colleagues and a legion of volunteers.
With her retirement as our School Librarian approaching, we surprised Mary recently with an All-School Mass, a special tribute and gifts, and a reception in our wonderful school library, which was rededicated as the Mary Donarski Library! Thank you, Mrs. Donarski: what a treasure you are!
