FACS Students Benefit from Athletics

Each year, Father Allouez students are given the chance to participate in a wonderful variety of sports: soccer, basketball, track, tennis, and golf.  The benefits are great.  We have a “no cut, everyone participates” policy.

Team athletics offer significant developmental benefits beyond just physical activity.  They foster crucial social and emotional skills, can improve academic performance, and, contribute to a child’s overall well-being. Self-esteem is boosted, teamwork is encouraged, and life skills like perseverance and leadership are fostered!

Besides all the fun and camaraderie and success of team sports, these are skills we believe they instill:

  • Time Management
  • Creativity in finding ways to improve
  • Development of focus and concentration
  • Learning to handle internal pressure
  • Taking responsibility for individual performance as a teammate

We are grateful for the dedication of our Athletic Director, Mr. Chris Haese, and his wonderful coaches who teach and mentor our students when they participate in sports at FACS.
