The intersection of faith and science in the classroom is a wondrous thing! Indeed, the Creator's work is all around us EVERY SINGLE DAY, in every corner of the Universe. 🌎🌍🌏💫🙏
TODAY it was manifest in a VERY EXCITING WAY in Room 205 of Father Allouez Catholic School: Mrs. VandenBush's 3rd Grade classroom!! 🌟
Some time between 5 and 6 AM, a Bantam Calico Cochin chick hatched! Since the students did not know the breed of the chick until this morning, they named their little chick Mystery! 🐣🐥
Then early this afternoon, at 12:50 PM, a Rhode Island Red chick hatched! The students had observed the chick rocking back and forth quite a bit in its egg yesterday, so they thought that they might name it Rocker. But they quickly changed the name to Rockstar! 🐣🐥
What a beautiful meeting of science and religion when we observe eggs incubate and hatch into chicks!
What a wonderful day to see new life during Holy Week! ✝️💝🕊️
