“There is nothing more valuable than learning through place. Experiencing a space where history happened is crucial for fostering the shared connection that builds a stronger community.”
– The National Trust for Historic Preservation
Our Father Allouez Catholic School students learn in many meaningful ways, including beyond the classroom! There is so much of science, history, math, and the arts that surrounds us. Recently our 3rd and 4th Graders experienced the historical and cultural riches at Heritage Hill State Historical Park, our good neighbors just down South Webster Ave. Thanks to everything shared by the park’s interpreters – in such authentic, historic settings – the students gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of the history of NE Wisconsin and its people! ⭐️⛏💙💚
